Coil Manufacture

Due to the wide variation in size, shape, frequency and conguration, each of the eight

X-TERRA coils have slightly dierent manufacturing requirements.

Below is a summary of the overall processes to manufacture a coil:

• Solderingcoilcabletocoilcircuitboard

• Tuningcoilwindingsandxingtohousing

• Testingcoilassemblyforfunctionaldefects

• Calibratingandprogrammingofmicrocontroller

• Finaltesting
